Commercial grade high efficiency surface mounted fluorescent luminaire. This 2X4 module features a complete menu of available diffusing media, lamping choices, and ballast options. Specify the appropriate combinations for the application and desired performance needed.

Specification Information:

Applications:

Use in all commercial, retail, and public buildings where recessing is not possible or desirable, or when high ceilings necessitate suspending the luminaire down to reasonable heights. Use in office, school, and medical environments. Small, medium, and large rooms illuminate well with evenly spaced 2X4 modules.

T5 Lamps:

Linear 28W-T5 or 54W-HO-T5; two, three, or four-lamp cross sections.

T8 Lamps:

Linear 32W-T8; two, three, or four-lamp cross sections. Other T8 lamps on request.

Housings:

Die formed code grade heavy gauge cold rolled steel with mitered ends welded into place for strength and uniformity. Snap-in type wireway cover allows for easy maintenance.

Door frames:

Heavy gauge flush steel frame has mitered-look corners and contains the specified diffusing media. Hinges down from either side of the housing or may be completely removed. Two positive action cam latches hold the frame closed. Optional gasketing and tamper proofing on request.

Finish:

All steel housing parts are painted after fabrication with a white powder coating to provide a durable and long lasting finish with a reflectivity of 90% or greater.

Diffusers and louvers:

See ordering data for complete list of available media. Diffusers include both extruded and injection-molded acrylic types with various specified lighting patterns. Louvers include both plastic and aluminum types with various specified cell sizes and configurations.

Ballasts T5:

Electronic programmed start, normal light output, high power factor, THD less than 10%. Up to 2-lamps per 28W-T5 ballast is standard. Up to 4-lamps per 54W-HO-T5 ballast is standard.

Ballasts T8:

Electronic instant start, high power factor, THD less that 10%. Low ballast factor (.78bf), normal ballast factor (.88bf), or high ballast factor (1.20bf) as specified. Up to 4-lamps per ballast is standard. Optional T8 ballasts: programmed rapid start, step dimming.

Dimming:

Lutron or Advance dimming ballasts as specified.

Voltage:

Multi-volt operating a range of 120V-277V, 50HZ-60HZ is standard.

Optional wiring:

A multiple lamp ballast operating the maximum number of lamps is standard. For split circuits and switching specify two-ballast option.

Emergency battery back up:

Integrated pack ranges from 500-lumen output up to 1400 lumens. Varies with lamp type.

Installations:

Designed for surface mounting direct to most ceiling types. May be suspended from ceilings on auxiliary hanging hardware. Sufficient knockouts are provided on the back of the housing for all electrical connections. Knockouts on the ends for surface conduit entry on request.

Listing:

UL listed 1598 with CUL approval and bears their label. Suitable for dry locations or optional damp locations with UL Damp Label. Union made and labeled.
