- A unique new idea in energy savings and management. The Lumasense II is a motion sensing bi-level ceiling or wall luminaire. It incorporates Mercury Lighting’s latest technology, OSS/advanced occupancy sensing system. Compact wrap-around design complies with all ADA requirements for public areas.
- Stairwells and similar low traffic public areas in commercial and residential buildings require lighting around the clock for safety and security. In reality, the occupancy of these areas can be nearly zero. The OSS technology provides a very low stand-by level of illumination. It uses an extremely sensitive ultrasonic occupancy sensor to detect any movement. It will even sense a stairwell door opening, where upon the luminaire instantly increases to full brightness. After occupancy is no longer detected the luminaire returns to the low stand-by level.
- The Lumasense II is available with optional emergency battery back up to further fill the requirements for emergency egress from buildings. Various lumen output packages are available to meet state and municipal building and fire codes.
- The Lumasense II with OSS technology is available with four different operating systems.
